fm_gui

fm_gui is the default graphical interface used with FreeMix.

The user interface

Mixer

The main element is a mixer panel which shows a control channel for each input source loaded. As a new source is loaded, a new channel will be added to the panel. It works in a similar way to a real DJ mixer.

File player

It simulates a common DJ CD player (often abbreviated to CDJ). As default, fm_gui will load two of these players when started.

To play a file, drag it from a file manager window to the CDJ display (the black area).
